Make your home and garden smart
Smart living doesn't have to be expensive, and it certainly doesn't have to depend on the cloud. We build affordable smart home setups on Home Assistant, Zigbee (Sonoff) and Matter — everything runs locally in your home, works without a subscription, and stays yours.
What we make smart
- Lighting: switching, dimming and scenes
- Heating and per-room thermostats
- Blinds, shades and curtains
- Garden: irrigation, outdoor lighting and sensors
- Energy monitoring: see usage per appliance
- Doorbell, cameras and presence detection
What we build it on
- Home Assistant — local hub, no cloud required
- Zigbee with Sonoff devices and Zigbee2MQTT
- Matter & Thread for newer devices
- Wi-Fi devices where that makes more sense
- Brand-independent: we integrate what you already own
Why this way?
Local: keeps working when the internet drops
Privacy: your data stays home, not with a manufacturer
No subscription and no mandatory app
Affordable, and easy to extend step by step
Active in Eindhoven and the surrounding region
We come out to Eindhoven, Helmond, Veldhoven, Best and the wider Brabant region. Advice, configuration and automations work just as well remotely — wherever you are in the Netherlands.
Frequently asked questions
What does a smart home setup cost?
It depends entirely on what you want to make smart: lighting in one room is a very different job from a whole house with heating, shades and garden. We work out what you actually need, start small where that makes sense, and you get a fixed price upfront — including the devices required.
Does it still work if my internet goes down?
Yes. Home Assistant runs locally in your home and Zigbee devices talk directly to the hub, so switches, sensors and automations keep working without internet. Only remote access and voice assistants need a connection.
What's the difference between Zigbee, Matter and Wi-Fi?
Zigbee is a low-power network of its own where devices extend each other's range — ideal for battery-powered sensors and switches. Matter is the new standard that lets devices from different brands work together. Wi-Fi is fine for a single data-heavy device but strains your network across dozens of them. In practice we combine them.
Can I keep using my existing devices?
Usually yes. Home Assistant integrates with hundreds of brands and protocols. We start by looking at what you already have and whether it fits — there's no sense replacing hardware that works.
Does this require building work?
No. Most setups use smart bulbs, plugs, modules behind existing switches and wireless sensors. Walls rarely need to come open.
